About me & My Folk Tour (Thar desert of India)

I'm a Folk Culture Researcher, I have done my post graduation in theatre education from National School of Drama, New Delhi, India.(a renowned drama school in Asia),beside that I have done prestige research fellowship of Govt of India, ministry of Culture, on Folk culture of Rajasthan, India.

During this fellowship I discovered many hidden tribes & their culture, now I want to share my experience with international tourisst, who want to travel Rajasthan,India with an experience in arranging private and regular tours individually designed for tourists and business people for over many years. I was born in Jodhpur (Rajasthan) in 1959 and love this city and Folk Culture of desert more than any other place in the world, which is why I chose to be a Folk culture researcher in this ancient lands. I enjoy sharing my love and knowledge of this magical, lively, and unique country with a great passion. I studied and earned my associate degree in Dramatics arts at the National school of Drama, New Delhi, India , Then I went to a special Research Fellowship course made by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of India, on Folk Culture of Rajasthan,India..I collaborate with other guides as well for many other languages,  who I've chosen not only based on their deep knowledge of the country, but also for their warmth and communication skills.

My professional aim is based on helping a foreign guest discover Folk Culture of Thar Desert. You may prefer private guided tours for families and small groups in order to get a better service, flexible itineraries, and tailor-made at the most comfortable pace. All of my travel services are coordinated with licensed local Tour Operators and are based on guests' satisfaction rather than a commercial activity. My main concern is to make my guest comfortable and pass him/her all the knowledge I have on my country in order to promote Desert Culture and gain another "goodwill ambassador" abroad. Because this kind of service would be the one that I'd look when I travel, viewing from a "tourist" eye. Because of the many archaeological sites and the difficulty/difference of the Indian language, if you're planning a visit to Thar desert of India it would be a good idea to hire services of an official professional tour guide who speaks your language and has a very deep knowledge of his heritage. Many tours can be arranged in Thar Desert of India, there are very good land and air connections between the cities and historical sites. You will find some example itineraries of major routes in the Tours page. Apart of the ones written there, so many custom made itineraries can also be arranged upon your request.

Thanks,Regards yusuf
