Greetings everyone! I've been absent from Wandering Educators since last spring when it was time to travel again, and it hasn't stopped until recently. And without my usual routine to keep my schedule running smoothly, time just flew by at super warp speed.

A lot of great opportunities have come my way to create new and interesting travel shows, some of which I'm thrilled to share with you.

I'd like to introduce you once again to Brandon Wilson, one of the most courageous and adventurous travelers I know....He's been to places we never even get to see on TV, let alone venture out there ourselves, like crossing Tibet on foot.  He's definitely someone you'd like to experience his travels vicariously through his books. And I did that with his 3rd, but not last, book: "Dead Men Don't Leave Tips, Adventures Across Africa." The title says it all.

Sometimes ignorance is bliss, because if we really know what we might be getting ourselves into before plunging into a new adventure, we might never leave the house....and perhaps Brandon and his partner Cheryl may have never joined an overlander group on a daring and dangerous 7 month long adventure across Africa from top to tip, surviving by luck, wit, and plenty of miracles, all the while capturing the most incredible moments one can imagine in that distant and unpredictable part of the world.

"Dead Men Don't Leave Tips",  part 1
