Ajay Jain - Three copies of Peep Peep Don't Sleep
Ajay Jain is a full time writer, professional blogger and photographer based in New Delhi in India. His new book, Peep Peep Don't Sleep, is about funny road signs and ads. "If you thought Road Signs are only meant to guide and inform, think again. The ones on Indian highways are in a zone of their own. They shower you with words of wisdom, keep your mind sharp as you unravel their cryptic messages, tickle your imagination, amuse you and entertain you. In public interest, they lend a hand to Alcoholics Anonymous. Since journeys are meant to be a pleasure, they remind you to ‘Smile Please.’ I drove over 10,000 kilometers in India to put together this collection of signs. With a bit of witty commentary thrown in, this book will be a journey unlike any other you may have undertaken. Resulting in you letting out a ‘Peep Peep’ of delight."
You can read our review and author interview of Peep Peep Don't Sleep HERE.

Donna Seim - Five copies of the intercultural children's book set in Turks & Caicos, Where is Simon, Sandy?
Donna Seim is the author of Where is Simon, Sandy? In "Where is Simon, Sandy?" Donna brings to print a folktale that has been passed down by word of mouth for generations. The story brings to life the charm of The Turks and Caicos Islands and its people. The author has just returned from the country, visiting the children in schools and reading from her book.
WHERE IS SIMON, SANDY? is a folktale that has never been written down
before. It was told for generations on the island of Grand Turk, the capitol of the Turks and Caicos Islands. It is a story of a little donkey that would not quit. The story has a happy ending and if you are lucky enough, when you come to this island in the Caribbean, you may find an old man, his little donkey with a cart full of pails brimming with water. And following behind them a parade of children singing and dancing.
All proceeds of the book go to the Children's Program of the National Museum of Turks and Caicos.
We will have a book review and author interview of Where is Simon, Sandy? in June. Look for it then!

tea towel
At IrishFireside.com, you can read, watch and listen as they share their insight into the Emerald Isle’s most popular destinations... as well as get off the tourist trail to experience the “real” Ireland.
In 2004, Liam and Corey teamed up to create their first itinerary packet for a client. A year later Liam shared his expertise in creating Corey’s Walking Kilkenny tour, and in February 2006 the duo launched their first Irish Fireside podcast. A year later, they unveiled their list of the Best Websites for Dreaming About Ireland. The Irish Fireside consistently ranks in the iTunes Top 100 Travel Podcasts, often breaking into the Top 25, and was nominated for www.PodcastAwards.com Best Travel Podcast 2008. This is one of my very favorite websites!

Joel Carillet & AuthorHouse - Three copies of Joel's extraordinary book, 30 Reasons to Travel: Photographs and Reflections from Southeast Asia.
Joel Carillet, a Tennessee-based writer and photographer, has traveled to more than sixty countries. His work has appeared in publications such as the Christian Science Monitor, World Hum, and The Best Travel Writing 2008.
30 Reasons to Travel, based on observations and insights gleaned from the author’s extensive experience abroad, offers concrete reasons for traveling to distant lands. But it does so in a way that also has application for the reader who will stay close to home. Through both words and images — more than 275 photographs accompany the text — the book invites the reader to consider how he or she is part of a journey that the world as a whole is already on. It is a journey that includes things such as strangers and trains, laughter and music. It is a journey in which no one person is the center, and in which there is much to explore.
Joel is our Chief Editor here at WanderingEducators, and my very favorite travel writer and photographer. You can read his weekly columns HERE.
AuthorHouse is a Publishing Company that helps Authors Achieve Success.
Krista Perry Dunn - One signed copy of The Courtship of Julian & Frieda: A
True Story.
Krista Perry Dunn is an incredible author who researched Julian and
Frieda's story over a number of years. One of the most compelling stories I've ever read is the Courtship of Julian and Frieda: A True Story. This is a powerful memoir of a young couple in love, parted by socioeconomic class, country of origin, war, concentration camps, the Gestapo - the Holocaust.
The Courtship of Julian & Frieda is a story about destiny, tyranny and the
power of true love; a factual account of two unworldly young lovers who,
through sheer luck and unselfish devotion, overcome unimaginable odds to be together.
We've got a great book review and author interview with Krista Perry Dunn. You can read it HERE.

Liam is also the proprietor of the extraordinary Ireland Guesthouse,
Knockahopple Cottage. We've interviewed him HERE.
Little Cream Books - One copy each of Little Cream Goodwill and Little Cream Drives.
Little Cream Books are published by WANLILU Play Ltd., which is the bespoke travel planning service. WANLILU means 10,000 miles in Chinese. There is a saying: One is wiser for travelling 10,000 miles than studying 10,000 scrolls. That is, in essence, our philosophy about travel, which also informs our books.
Little Cream Book is a play on the little black book address book concept, with cream being "the cream of the crop". That's why each book only features 26 destinations, one for each letter of the alphabet from A-Z. We aim to highlight interesting destinations from all around the world, rather than focus solely on one region.
We've written a book review and author interview with Winnie So, Author and publisher of Little Cream Books. You can read this HERE.

Peter Randall - One copy of Ghana: An African Portrait Revisited
Peter E. Randall Publisher - In 1963, master twentieth-century photographer Paul Strand documented Ghana, the first sub-Saharan colony to become an independent country. His book, Ghana, An African Portrait, was published in 1976. On the fiftieth anniversary of Ghana’s independence, six New Hampshire photographers journeyed to the West African country to document the changes that occurred over the decades. Edited and designed by photographer-publisher Peter E. Randall, the resulting book is a stunning 168 pages of the landscapes, cities, towns, industries, markets, crafts and, especially, faces of Ghana. Poems by prominent Ghanaian poets accompany some of the photos. An essay by Professor Abena Busia, who teaches English, Women’s Studies and Comparative Literature at Rutgers and the daughter of former Prime Minister P. K. Busia, wrote the book’s introduction, sharing both a personal and national history, and placing the images in context. Prof. Busia also offers a detailed chronology of Ghana’s political history.
The book was selected as one of the top photographic books in 2007 and recently was one of three finalists for a Benjamin Franklin award in the coffee table/large format category.
