Seaside Craft Affair – Sat.-Sun., January 17-18 (10 a.m. to 5 p.m.)
Discover one-of-a-kind crafts, jewelry, ceramics, sculpture, paintings and clothing by more than 150 crafters, plus natural body products and a green market along the Hollywood Beach Broadwalk, Florida’s only auto-free oceanfront promenade. CanadaFest – Sat.-Sun., January 24-25 (10 a.m. to 9 p.m.)

Groundhog Day on Hollywood Beach – Mon., February 2 (6:30 a.m.)
Hollywood’s wackiest annual celebration will feature a spaghetti breakfast at 6:30 a.m. at Ocean Alley restaurant (900 N. Broadwalk), followed by a traditional dip in the Atlantic Ocean and a live TV hookup to Punxsutawney Phil’s end-of-winter prediction at Gobbler’s Knob, Pa. The $10 cost includes an event T-shirt. The 4th annual event kicks off at 8 p.m. Sat., Jan. 31 with a concert by James Lee Stanley at the Ramada Hollywood Beach Resort, 101 N. Ocean Drive. Tickets are $10. Mardi Gras Fiesta Tropicale & Fat Tuesday on Hollywood Beach – Fri.-Tues., February 20-24

“South Florida’s Mardi Gras” kicks off in Downtown Hollywood at Funtastic Fridays for Kids, featuring a second-line parade, outdoor movie, magic shows, clowns and crafts at Anniversary Park, 1945 Hollywood Blvd. The celebration then moves to Hollywood Beach for authentic Louisiana cuisine and live music on two stages, second-line parades, body-art competitions and children’s activities.
