Cheesesteaks have always been synonymous with the city of Philadelphia
and in recent years Tony Luke Jr., owner of Tony Luke’s Cheesesteaks
has become a staple in Philadelphia’s growing restaurant scene.

Luke has managed to appeal to the masses with The Original Tony
Luke’s, a more traditional cheesesteak stand, and Tony Luke’s Beef and
Beer Sports Bar. Located just across the street from one another,
neither location skimps on quality of ingredients or atmosphere.

Whether you’re looking to get a quick bite or relax and watch the game
Tony Luke Jr. has something for you. The traditional cheesesteak with
shaved ribeye steak and cheese wiz is always a crowd pleaser, however,
Luke’s signature items, such as the roasted pork with broccoli rabe
and provolone sandwich are must tries.

Luke’s success lies partly in the fact that he was born and raised in
South Philly and it is easy to recognize the passion he has for his
hometown. Keeping true to his roots, Luke took something he was raised
with and perfected his cheesesteak flawlessly.
