A global database widely used by researchers in international education will have a new lease of life following a decision by IDP Education Pty Ltd to provide sponsorship support.

IDP will provide the Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER) with funding to maintain the Database of Research in International Education and continue to populate it with new material. As a result, this searchable database will continue to be available to researchers as a tool to help them locate books, articles, conference papers and reports on international education which are published both in Australia and overseas.

The searchable web database currently contains details of 7,677 pieces of research published from 1990 onwards. The database was established and developed by ACER with funding from Australian Education International.
