The WE Marketplace is designed to promote unusual, hand-crafted, one-of-a-kind items from artisans world-wide. It is our vision to promote social responsibility and action through this type of economic endeavor. Like the Grameen Bank or many other small-scale projects designed to increase self-sufficiency around the world, we are focused on finding artisans - globally - and promoting their work to you, thus helping them to contine to create their art, as well as support their families.

Currently, we are researching many non-profits that assist artisans in selling their goods. We are talking with each and every artisan before we commit to selling their products here. As well, we are looking within the U.S. for artisans - one requirement being that they have high-quality art that is affordable for our members.

Do you know any artisans that would like to be represented on WanderingEducators.com? Please have them contact us at artisans@wanderingeducators.com - we'd love to get to know them. Similarly, when you are traveling, please keep your eyes and ears open for artisans that are looking to sell outside of their local market. We will contact them, interview them, assess their products and determine if there is a fit with our audience, and hopefully represent them here at wanderingeducators.com.
