Cross-Cultural Resources

My job is to coach people on expatriate and cross-cultural matters.  Success and happiness while abroad and out of your own “element” is what we focus on in coaching.  Over the years, as I worked with client after client, I began to notice something — those clients who came to a country with a foundation of a cross-cultural training fared better in their levels of stress and frustration than those who came without it.

After a bit of research I discovered that not every expatriate received the benefit of cross-cultural training from their company – and those who came on their own didn’t have access to training of any kind at all.  That’s when I decided to create something that will be affordable for everyone and accessible from every corner of the earth.  And this is how the virtual Expatriate and Cross-Cultural Academy was born.

We started with just a few countries and we have been rapidly expanding to include not only country-specific courses but also courses on Culture Shock, Adjustment, Repatriation, and many others.  Having become a member of the Wandering Educators family by joining them as their expatriate and cross-cultural editor, I wanted to offer the readers of WE special access to our online courses.
