According to a study developed by automotive company Ford, the average EU commute is 37.5 minutes per day, whereas the average commute in the UK is 54 minutes.

Prior to studying abroad in London, I spoke with a friend about things I needed to know about London. The first thing he said was to get familiar with the tube. He also gave me a map so I could start studying. Before you leave for London, I would highly recommend getting familiar with the map. The tube will most likely be a part of your daily life. Did you know that every airplane has an identifying number on it? The tail number tells you where it is registered, and the identification of the plane itself. You can look these up online. Every country has their own numbers. Every airplane that flies - including private planes, experimentals, and ultralights - have a tail number.
