The mountain ranges of Whistler are some of the most beautiful in the world. Within an hour and a half outside of Vancouver, Whistler is world-renowned as a hot skiing stop, yet many don't realize how much it has besides just the slopes!

If you’re curious about Whistler, here’s a taste of everything it has to offer from season to season.

In The Spring

As the ice and snow start to melt away, they make room for lush and gorgeous greenery beneath! Beautiful trees, grass, and plains turn out a brilliant emerald. Unfortunately, spring doesn't start until late April here since the snow takes so long to melt off, but it's in full bloom when it arrives.

Some of the best activities to enjoy in the spring are ziplining tours above the mountaintops. This gives you the chance to take in the mountains in their full beauty. In the spring, as animals that hibernate through the winter start to emerge, you can glide above them and watch the mountains come back to life.

In The Summer

Summer is Whistler's second most popular season, behind winter! Summers in Whistler never get too warm, instead of staying at a pleasant eighty degrees at the most. The mountains retain their lush green, and the glacial lakes and rivers warm just enough for sports.

Kayaking is immensely popular in the summer in Whistler. Many also swear that they’d buy real estate for sale in Whistler to enjoy the walking and biking trails whenever they want. Every inch of the mountain range comes to life in the summer, and you'll want to take pictures of every moment of it.

In The Fall

As the warm air leaves and crisp air settles back in for the season, you can enjoy watching countless beautiful leaves change color as Whistler's mountainsides shift for the seasons. The mountains light up in hues of orange and red, looking like they're on fire despite the cold.

The fall is the best time to visit if you love camping! You can enjoy that most of the campgrounds are empty this time of year while also taking in the beautiful views and toasty campfires.

In The Winter

This is when Whistler shines. Winter in Whistler is a five to the six-month-long ordeal, full of ice and snow and fun. Although most wouldn't think a northern holiday in the winter is a good idea: you'll never find a better place to vacation in January. Skiing, snowboarding, and enjoying ice skating on open lakes, you can drink in the winter atmosphere and then slip back into the warmth of the skiing lodges and hotels. Every inch of Whistler is better in the winter.
