Art For All Spaces (AFAS), in partnership with The Obsidian Gallery at Faith Arts Village Orlando (FAVO), is proud to present The Femanati Project Presents: Queens, a compelling solo exhibition by artist Juliana Davidson Ross, opening Friday, April 3 and continuing Saturday, April 4, from 6-9pm during FAVO’s First Friday and First Saturday art events.
Juliana Davidson Ross’s work reflects both artistic dedication and social consciousness, demonstrating how visual art can be both beautiful and impactful while directly supporting meaningful causes.
Dream a Little Dream, 16x20 Acrylic
Queens is a powerful series of paintings created by Davidson Ross over the past five years. The exhibition explores the concept of feminine strength and identity through a diverse range of imagery—from symbolic chess queens representing strategy and resilience to expressive portraiture celebrating the dignity, complexity, and quiet power of women.
Through these works, the artist elevates the idea of women as leaders, survivors, and visionaries within their own narratives.
The Lion and the Cobra, 18x24 Acrylic
In keeping with the mission of The Femanati Project, this exhibition also serves a strong philanthropic purpose. Limited edition prints and select merchandise will be available during the exhibition, with 100% of proceeds being donated to support women in Central Florida. These funds will help provide essential feminine hygiene products to area shelters and schools, addressing a critical but often overlooked need in the community.
This special exhibition continues Art For All Spaces’ commitment to presenting exhibitions that not only showcase artistic excellence but also connect art with community engagement and social impact.
