Foodie Finds: Best Pizza on Tybee Island, GA

If you’re going Tybee Island, GA and you love pizza, you’ve got to go to Cousin Vinny’s. For starters, this restaurant has an excellent covered outdoor patio with misters to keep you cool in the summer months. My family ate there with our dog, and she was very welcomed by our excellent waiter.

We ordered cheesy garlic bread, a pizza and a Greek salad. They were all delicious. The pizza crust was amazing! It was crispy and yet not at all greasy. The salad was fresh and HUGE. And the waiter was one of the best we’ve ever had. Other items on the lunch menu included pastas and sandwiches.

If I lived in that area, I’d be ordering a lot of pizzas to go from Cousin Vinny’s.

P.S. This has nothing to do with the restaurant, but I had to mention it. While we were leaving, we noticed a large grasshopper on our car tire. It flew up in the air, and a bird caught it. I could not get a photo in time of the bird flying away with it. But it was a really spectacular event to watch.
