As a double-alumna of Michigan State University (and having worked with MSU Study Abroad), I am always intrigued by MSU's international efforts. I was so impressed by MSU's call for study abroad and international education several years ago. I recently discovered that MSU now has a Dubai campus!
There's nothing like being on the ground to really tell the story of a place. I've found a great site, from Alexander Budak - that explores travel (currently in India), photos, quirky aspects of life abroad, cogent cultural musings, and more. Created by Alex Budak, this site's a joy to read - and laugh with.
Filled with excellent recipes and new ideas, Great Year-Round Grilling in the Midwest captures not only the basics of Midwestern cooking (not too spicy!) but also ventures into the global traditions that are spreading around the world.

I live in the Triana neighborhood of Seville. Triana, legendary (and some would say, mythological) home of bullfighters and gypsies. There's a certain romance here, I like to think, that you won't find in other districts. It's a nice neighborhood, made even nicer by the fact that we now have (yet) another virgin.
