The Central Florida Watercolor Society proudly presents the Watercolor Showcase Exhibition, opening on Thursday, March 20, 2025, at City Arts in downtown Orlando. As part of Third Thursday’s Art Walk, the opening reception will be held from 4:30-9pm, welcoming art enthusiasts, collectors, and supporters of the vibrant watercolor community.

Award Ceremony at 5:30 PM – Juried by Winter Haven artist Ron Malone, Signature Member of FWS, GWS, and PWS. All are invited to join this momentous occasion as we officially open the exhibition and celebrate the enduring impact of watercolor artistry in Central Florida.

This milestone exhibition celebrates 26 years of commitment to the educational and social aspects of watercolor artistry, showcasing the talents of over 100 members who continue to push the boundaries of the medium.

A must-see highlight of the exhibition is The Very Special Legends Wall, honoring the artistic legacy of Ken Austin, founder of the Central Florida Watercolor Society, alongside esteemed watercolor masters Chauncy Nelson and Glen Ward. Their works testify to the society’s rich history and unwavering dedication to fostering artistic growth.

A pillar of cultural enrichment in Central Florida, the Central Florida Watercolor Society promotes the interest, education, and participation in watercolor art. The Watercolor Showcase Exhibition will be on view through April 12, 2025, giving visitors ample opportunity to experience the beauty and mastery of watercolor artistry.
