Underwater photographer Brian Skerry has spent over 10,000 hours underwater, in his career. He's been an underwater photographer for thirty years, and many of his photos are iconographic - seen in National Geographic, BBC Wildlife, Smithsonian, Audubon, and more. He was names on of five photographers saving the world through photography, by American Photo Magazine.

Here, in this TED Talk as part of Mission Blue Voyage, he shares his love of - and concern for - the ocean. He notes his concerns of the human impact on the ocean - and also the joys of seeing such glory underwater.

Take a look - and then think, what can we do to help our oceans?
