-    Mom, Love You Forever…and More Munsch

Vancouver, BC - After a wildly successful production of Munsch Alley this past spring, Carousel Theatre is bringing more of Robert Munsch’s work to the Waterfront Theatre stage! A fun collection of hit stories for kids, featuring classics like Mortimer, The Paper Bag Princess, Murmel, Murmel, Murmel, Love You Forever and Zoom – all from one of Canada’s best-loved children’s authors. Mortimer clang-clang-rattle-bing-bangs his way to bedtime as he takes you on a journey with a princess in a paper bag, a very hungry dragon, a chatty baby, a speedy wheelchair, and a timeless lullaby.

The cast features Josue Laboucane, Melissa Oei and Ella Simon. The creative team includes award-winning Director Carole Higgins, Set Designer Heidi Wilkinson, Costume Designer Jay Havens, Lighting Designer Darren Boquist, and Sound Designer Jeff Tymoschuk. Stage Management is by Colleen Totten and Benjamin Cheung.

Carousel Theatre, now in its 35th  season, has produced 140 plays for young people. In its early years, the company performed at several different venues in Vancouver including the Arts Club Seymour Street and the Vancouver East Cultural Centre before moving to our home on Granville Island, where we operate a small arts complex that includes administrative offices and two rehearsal halls. Carousel is one of the long-term resident tenants at the Waterfront Theatre on Granville Island.
