Female Perspective: A Concert for Women's History Month

The Deering Estate Living Artist Concert Series presents Female Perspective, on Friday, March 18th, with guest clarinetist Margaret Donaghue, and visiting composer Victoria Bond. In celebration of Women's History Month, the Deering Estate Chamber Ensemble has selected music by some of the world's greatest women composers. The international program features works by Victoria Bond, Libby Larsen (America) Louise Farrenc (France), and Rebecca Clarke (England), and historical works by Miami's own musical treasure, Mana-Zucca. 

 

This concert series combines ensemble performances with art exhibits and interpretive programs. Concerts are held in the historic Stone House Ballroom. A Meet the Artist Reception begins at 6:30pm, followed by the concert at 7pm. The Deering Estate at Cutler, is located at 16701 SW 72 Avenue, Miami, 33157.
