Miami, Florida is one of the most desired destinations in the world. Although synonymous with the glitz, the glamour, partying until dawn and sun-drenched days on the beach, the Magic City has also become a Mecca for art and culture. Major events including Art Basel, The South Beach Food & Wine Festival and the annual Book Fair continually attract well-heeled visitors from around the globe. Miami also boasts numerous galleries featuring both established and up and coming young artists, the Design District, celebrated chefs, and a diverse local music scene.

The city is also very pet-friendly. While most hotels welcome our four-legged family members, one does rise above the rest - the Epic Hotel.

Situated in downtown Miami, where Biscayne Bay meets the Miami River (can you say amazing views?), the Epic is the ultimate Zen location for the stressed out dog.

The hotel's Exhale Spa offers a service you just don't see everyday - Doga. Yes, yoga for dogs. A certified yoga instructor works one-on-one with the pooch and human companion, incorporating meditation, massage and yoga. Each 30-minute session costs $75.

In addition, as part of their Canine Wellness program, the spa offers a side-by-side massage for a dog ($75 per half hour) and his or her human guardian ($130 per hour).

Pet guardians must be present for all Doga/Dog Massage sessions. Services must be booked 24 hours in advance.

For guests looking for a spa-free experience for their dog, the Epic offers a Pet Package featuring welcome toys, a dog bed, dog shirt and treats. The hotel also provides leashes and plastic bags for dog walks and even pet sitting, grooming and walking services. For their human companions, the package includes evening turndown service, daily morning coffee/tea service and a hosted wine reception each evening.

The Pet Package can be booked online at epichotel.com or via telephone by calling 1-866-760-3742. Be sure to mention rate code PPET.
