Water Works - Geneva, Switzerland

Water Works - Geneva, Switzerland

Originally a simple security valve at a hydraulic factory, this water fountain has, over the years, grown to be the symbol of Geneva.  It's now a major tourist attraction.  I was lucky enough to be staying with a friend who had a spectacular view of the fountain at all hours of the day.  I also happened to be in Geneva during one of their biggest summer festivals, the annual week long Fetes De Geneve – a big carnival like celebration on the lakeshore.  The lakeshore and fountain seemed to come alive with color during the warm nights of the festival.  Luckily I was able to capture it all from my friend's living room window.
