Mt. Kinabalu Borneo Island - Malaysia:
Off the Edge

Sherry Ott - Mt. Kinabalu Borneo Island - Malaysia

A hiker descends the rock-face of Mt. Kinabalu, Southeast Asia’s tallest mountain.  It is a 2-day steep hiking journey up Mt. Kinabalu through exotic rainforest and eventually this steep, barren rock-face as you summit.  You sit high above the clouds for a spectacular view of sunrise.  In order to make it by sunrise, you follow the rope (on the rocks) which guides you in the dark up the rocks to the summit; a challenging and rewarding journey.

Mt. Kinabalu is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
