"Recession-Busting, Stay-at-Home, Celtic Guitar Camp," taking
place in Medford, MA. and presented by Matt and Shannon Heaton.

On Tues and Wed evenings (June 16-July 21), Celtic Guitar Camp will feature elements of the residential intensive music camp experience in a handy
2-day-per-week series.

There are offerings for backers and some for backers/melody players alike.
Different packages are available for maximum flexibility in scheduling. Players can choose one segment, or choose ‘em all:

FOR GUITAR/BOUZOUKI PLAYERS:
Guitar Technique Class: a weekly 45-minute guitar aerobic workout, combining technical exercises from the classical guitar world, as well as dynamic workouts uniquely tailored to the trad Irish/Celtic guitar player.
Tuesdays June 16-July 21, 6:45-7:30pm

Backing Master Class: accompany a melody player (bring your own or use the
“house band”) in a set of tunes, and Matt20will offer suggestions on how to
improve your backing--all in front of your classmates. When you’re not
performing, you get to learn from classmates’ lessons.
Wednesdays June 17-July 22, 8:00-9:00pm

FOR BOTH BACKING AND MELODY PLAYERS:
Theory for Trad Players: learn Matt’s “all you really need to know for
traditional music” approach. Whether you have never studied theory, or just need a brush up, this class can help. Music reading skills not required.
Wednesdays June 17-July 22, 6:45-7:30pm
