Calico Ghost Towns Rings in 2010 Old West Style January 1st -3rd

San Bernardino, CA  - Not a football fan?  Looking for adventure somewhere on the highway?  A trip up I-15 to Calico Ghost Town could be your answer for something unique to start off the New Year.

Beginning January 1st, Calico Ghost Town will host a weekend packed with family-friendly fun and activities styled along its old West theme.  Among the activities will be mechanical bull rides, rock climbing walls, virtual calf roping, old West games for children and an old West gambling hall for adults, featuring Faro, Chuck-a-luck and Wheel of Fortune games and more.  Saturday and Sunday will also include performances by Lisa Haley and the Zydecats bringing a touch of New Orleans sounds to the West.  Experience the history of Calico by watching the blacksmith at work, and cowboy roping demonstrations.  All this and more for families looking for a unique way to bring in the new year.

Calico Ghost Town admission is: $10 adult, $5 children 6-15.  Ages 5 and under free.
