Looking For An Intern? Look No More!

Ever wonder where you could find great bloggers, travel writers, book reviewers or even an intern? Does your Web site need more fantastic content or publicity? Don’t know where to look to find these people? Try using the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA).

PRSSA is a pre-professional national organization dedicated to preparing public relations students for a career in PR. Public relations students are generally excellent writers, good communicators and skilled in social media.

Most PR students are eager for opportunities to show off their writing skills because developing a portfolio is important when applying for other internships or jobs. Some PR students are busy with school and activities and actively seek internships where they can work virtually and communicate with a boss by e-mail or phone. This may be perfect for your travel Web site!

I met Jessie from Wandering Educators because one of my PR friends found her on Twitter. Since then, I’ve connected her with a freelance writer and a social media publicist intern from the Temple University PRSSA chapter.

I’d definitely recommend reaching out to a PRSSA chapter (either on Twitter or through the PRSSA National Web site) for your writing, social media or PR needs. Most PRSSA chapters will e-mail out internship listings to their chapters connecting you with several promising PR students.
