There are countless stories of people leaving their motherlands and fleeing to seek asylum in other countries to avoid conflicts, violence, and any kind of persecution or fear of being killed.
After coming to the UK to pursue my Masters in Human Rights, I have learned how asylum has been applied and exercised in developed countries.

A stateless person, as defined by the 1954 United Nations Convention Relating to the Status of Stateless Persons, is a person who is not considered a national of any state. This means that they do not hold formal citizenship of any state.
In 1933, 15-year-old Turkiyya Hasan was beaten at the Swedish Salam Mission in Port Said, Egypt. Hasan claimed she was beaten because of her refusal to accept Christianity. The missionaries claimed that she was willfully misbehaving and provoking disturbances at the missionary.

It can also help foster community engagement. Religion is an important aspect of life and deserves to be protected no matter what the religion, faith, or belief.
From birth to death, our only assured companion throughout life is the body in which we exist.
We use it to express who we are, through our voices, our actions, and occasionally through an odd-placed piercing. On the surface, the notion of an external force being given executive control over the most individual and personal aspect of life is absurd, yet bodies have become commodified, and bodily autonomy is facing an ever-increasing stream of barriers.
