Sabeel: Artistic Journeys from Arab Lands to America

The Arab American Cultural Institute (AACI) announces a call to all Arab artists in the state of Minnesota for its juried show “ Sabeel: Artistic Journeys from Arab Lands to America.” It will be in the spring of 2010 in the O’Shaughnessy Educational Center lobby gallery and theater at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota. Artists above 18 and residing in Minnesota, who identify themselves as Arabs, or were born in an Arab land, are eligible. The artwork must be new and explore the intersection between being Arab and being American or living in America. All media are accepted, including photography, design, craft, performance and visual arts. Deadline for application is October 15th. Application is free.
