Auroras at Andøya Island, Northern Norway

These photos were taken where I grew up, a little place called Nordmela, at Andøya Island in northern Norway. I had to drive one hour, to get clear of the clouds, and headed to the west side of Andøya. There were some auroras, as you can see:-)

Andøya is Norway's 10th largest island with an area of ​​489 km² and has among the largest bog areas (263 km²) and is well known for its cloudberries. Mires are utilized for extensive production of peat. You can go there by plane, car, or boat. Connecting by a bridge, so you can safely drive there by car if you wish:-) . Andøya is located in the Vesterålen archipelago, 300 km inside the Arctic circle.
