Here's a new way to find your lowest airfares - on Facebook! Last year, Facebook replaced google as the world's most used website. So, what can travelers expect to find on Facebook? Cheap airfare searches, FAST.

One of the latest tools to enhance your travel experience is Skyscanner. It is so slick!

Here's how:

Like Skyscanner on Facebook.

Then, enter your search terms - I recently searched Athens to Detroit. Within a minute, I was given several options for flights in the next few months, on several different airlines. I was also given a direct link to these airfares.

What were the cheap airfare results?

When I compared my flight dates using Skyscanner, Kayak, and Farecompare (the other two sites I use most frequently to search for cheap airfare), the results were enough to make me use skyscanner.

Skyscanner: $1414

Kayak: $1481

Farecompare: $1481

I know - there are always hidden costs, and things to pay attention to.

However - isn't it worth starting here, to gauge your baseline?

Skyscanner is based in Edinburgh (yes, one of my favorite cities!) and Poland. And, they can provide "instant comparison on flight prices for over 670,000 routes on over 600 airlines, as well as price comparison for car hire, hotels and holidays."

And yes, you can search for flights in 23 different languages, and choose from 60 different currencies.

Skyscanner also has a free iphone app.

Let's GO!
