Swaddling Clothes - Village near Luang Prabang Laos

A trip to photograph whiskey production in small villages in Laos turned into a trip to photograph this newborn.  As I was wrapping up my whiskey photography, I was invited into this family's home to photograph their 5 day old baby wrapped up in swaddling clothes.  The baby was born in their home with the village medicine man present;  too bad I couldn't have been there 5 days earlier!  The chance to meet the family, be invited into their home, and converse with them (with translator) was a treat; photographing the baby was the icing on the cake!
