Touch the Sky - Taipei, Taiwan
The sun set on the Chiang Kai Shek Temple and I was able to catch the sky as it changed from day to night. Perched high above the National Theatre and Concert Halls, the temple commands the attention of visitors of Liberty Square. If you also happen to be here at the right time, you may get treated to the changing of the guard. It was a nice stop between enjoying all of the fabulous food Taipei has to offer.
If you're a parent, you've been there - thinking about what to pack, where to go, and where your kids will enjoy your travels the most. It also helps when you've got a team of experts to assist you in these endeavors. The Vacation Gals is an extraordinary resource for family travels. They've got great recommendations for restaurants, top things to do in various cities, and the expertise of being travel writers - AND experiencing all of these things, with their families.

But they rip.

How does one balance the importance of living in the present with the need to prepare for the future?
Some people don’t contemplate this issue. They simply do what comes naturally – sometimes suffering the consequences of favoring one over the other.
