Last summer I had the wonderful opportunity to go sailing with a friend and her dad and another friend. Our journey started out in Stockholm and we slowly sailed away towards the island of Finnhamn, which we reached later the same evening. Finnhamn is located in the northern archipelago and is a very popular island, which is served year round via ferry.

Well I must say that my mom was smitten after her first taste in the archipelago, even if it was a short day trip out to Fjäderholmarna!  I must admit I also really enjoyed myself and since my friend Anna-Maria was still here, she suggested for us to take another day trip out to Vaxholm.
