Omega Mart is an interactive art installation that was created by American arts company Meow Wolf. When you visit, you will explore a supermarket and uncover a narrative and portals. Currently, there are 5 locations, with more planned.

Meow Wolf Omega Mart in Las Vegas first opened in 2021. It's a very fun and cool place to explore. There are 4 big themed areas, known as anchor spaces. The reason why a lot of people love and enjoy going to visit Omega Mart is because it gives off a very trippy and psychedelic vibe. 

The awesome thing about this place is that you won't ever find a store and a museum like Omega Mart. It has so many different things you don't see in your typical day to day life. Everything about Omega Mart will blow your mind.  

What to expect at Las Vegas Omega Mart

The first thing that people encounter is a giant robot lying down on the cement; in the parking lot, there is an airplane that people can see when they are walking by. It's super cool! 

Once you enter Omega Mart, you will see a lot of lights and colorful colors, as well as a huge giant skull in the middle. It's like you're going into a space museum due to the darkness and the lights that glow in the dark. And on top of that, you are surrounded by posters and art. When you turn to the side, there is a store; when you enter the store, you will be fascinated by all the cool things that they sell, including pillow chips, bags, cereal boxes, sandals, drinks, and cleaning products. And that's when your journey begins! 

Enjoyable things to do in Omega Mart

Here, you can explore and also get a unique art experience. It is a very big market, and you can stay there for hours. Omega Mart is fascinating and fun once you go in. 

Omega Mart is quite entertaining, and the fun things you are able to do are shop, play games, uncover mysteries, immerse yourself in art, find secret spaces, and have some delicious drinks.

As you enter the Market store, it just gets crazier with the products they sell. You can customize products that are available to purchase. One of the things that they have is a cereal box that says “Simply does not contain spiders.” They also sell a cleaning bottle that is a clear yellow cleaning product that says “Who told you this is butter?” “Do not Eat!” In addition to the food and cleaning products they sell, you can even find sandals that are egg cartons. They are very funny looking and they are called “Cage-Free toes.” There are many other products that are pretty funny and different in the way that it's not like your typical grocery store! 

On top of that, there are mystery rooms, where you need to discover each room has a portal to something else and every room is different. The cool thing about this hunt is that you will experience so many different things. In one, you even have to climb a rope that is 40 feet of rock and it takes about 30 minutes to get to your next destination. 

The great thing that art lovers are going to really like is the wide variety of art. For example, there are plenty of drawings. Some of them are made out of over 60 glass panel layers of white drawings that glow. When the drawings are illuminated, they look like living organisms. And it gives off a very trippy feeling!

Another thing you must do is go to the bar. There is an alcoholic drink that is super cool called “the source.” It's made of gin, Italicus, rhubarb liqueur, strawberry puree, and citrus. And what makes this drink overall so fascinating is that it has a bubble filled with smoke. If you are underage or don’t drink alcohol, no worries...there are also plenty of drinks that they will have for you!

How to Visit Omega Mart Las Vegas

Omega Mart is located in the AREA15 Complex in Las Vegas.  

Parking
The parking is free on site. People arrive there by driving to the location.  You don't have a vehicle of your own or maybe you don't have a ride to get to Omega mart, no problem! Take a bus, taxi, or rideshare.

Hours
Monday thru Thursday 11am-11pm
Friday thru Sunday it depends on the opening for the dates you choose but it normally closes at 9:20pm. On the weekends, it closes earlier due to the fact that on weekends the wait time increases. Omega Mart does recommend you to at least be there one hour and a half earlier than close, so you are able to experience the exhibits.  

Accessibility
Most of Omega Mart is wheelchair accessible. Some optional areas require crawling or climbing.

Costs and Ticket Information
General admission tickets start at $48. Nevada resident tickets start at $38 

They also have a VIP package that starts at $85 and you get the ultimate VIP experience.  

The yearly Portal Pass Supremium passes allows access to any Meow wolf locations It 
 starts at $139 and for children ages 4-12 years old starting price is $99 and for Children ages 3 and under are completely Free. 

The VIP package, called Omega Quest, includes 15% off anything when you spend more than $50, and drinks both with and without alcohol. The VIP package prices are different depending on the date but range between $114-$123. 

Reasons you should visit Omega Mart

I will start with the things I like…and that's everything about Meow Wolf Omega Mart. 

I like that it's located in Area51, and once you pull up to the parking lot, you start seeing very big, unique things outside of Omega Mart. There's a giant Robot, a cool airplane, and a car and many more things just outside of the museum. 

What I also like is once you go inside and pass the grocery store, there are unique activities, such as a tunnel room and a climbing rock room that you will have to go through to get to the next.

And all the mysterious doors and rooms that you don't expect to see (on top of that mind-bending feeling that you get) is just such a fun experience.

I also like the store and bar in Omega Mart.

Meow Wolf Omega Mart is something that you have not experienced anywhere else, I promise you that! Omega Mart is open to all ages. It's a great museum and art installation that I believe everyone should go and enjoy.
