Recently, I saw a video from Inside Study Abroad that I just loved. It features interviews with leaders in international education, and what they look for in international educators.

I contacted Brooke Roberts (of Inside Study Abroad) about the video, to get the backstory. Here's what she had to say...

"On a daily basis, I'm asked by aspiring international education professionals how to get a job and stand out in their careers. And it's not an easy thing to answer. That's why I created my "How to be a Rock Star" presentation - to hopefully help anyone take their career to the next level and make a big impact in our field. But that presentation is really just my opinions, things I've done, and interesting characteristics I've seen in others. I wanted to find out what other executives and top level people in international education thought it meant to be a rock star. So I did a bunch of Skype video interviews with people I know and respect in our field...and this video was the culmination of that effort. And I'm happy to say that they all agreed with my list as well. :)"

Here's Brooke, presenting at NAFSA with her "How to be a Rock Star" session.
