With a BIG walk across the Spanish sierra on my May travel agenda, I thought it fitting to write about one of the most beautiful resort hotels in Spain, after all, I might need some pampering and R & R at the end of the Camino Santiago, an ancient 800km pilgrimage trail originating in France and ending in Santiago de Compostela in the Spanish north-west.

Phnom Penh is in almost every way the nerve center of Cambodia. Though perhaps not "The Paris of the East" pre 1970s, the city's French colonial buildings are beautiful, and its streetscapes make for a pleasant walk especially along Sisowath Quay down by the Tonle Sap River - in many respects the heartbeat of the city. In recent years, Phnom Penh has has tidied up, and is an increasingly popular spot in Southeast Asia for visitors en route to Angkor or the beaches of Sihanoukville, Cambodia's premier beach resort town.
