Fox Glacier, on the South Island of New Zealand, is one of the most accessible glaciers in the world. It ends in the middle of a lush rainforest, just 250 meters above sea level. It moves at up to ten times the speed of other glaciers. And there are many glacier tours that let you walk on the ice of the glacier itself.
