Around the time September became October, I found myself on Amtrak’s Coast Starlight route between Seattle and Los Angeles. Riding the rail is one of the most honest forms of transportation.

Colorado is a beautiful place. In my opinion, however, it is the most beautiful in autumn. Leaves change their colors, and a cool breeze settles over the mountains and surrounding areas, chilling the body and freshening the soul. I love writing in autumn.

Touch down into Orlando and you enter into a crazy world of amusement parks and entertainment, of circus shows and wacky architecture.
