La Ville Lumière (the City of Lights) is the perfect nickname for Paris, as 24 hours a day, the city is bathed in the light from street lamps and twinkling candles in restaurant windows.

Summer. Everyone has their own tradition. Many travel to exotic destinations 'round the globe. Others like to soak up the sun with pool parties, long days with friends on the beach, BBQs, and maybe an occasional moonlit party, topped of course with that godawful summer pop playlist you only listen to for those few months.

Monday 29th April

Arriving from Australia into Heathrow early on a Monday morning, my partner Alison and I recovered our luggage and made our way towards the immigration and customs areas. Though we should have been tired after a seven hour flight from Dubai preceded by an eleven hour flight from Australia, we were in fact elated and full of energy. We exited the Airbus A380, and made our way to the baggage collection area.

Guess what? There are plenty of things to do in Florida that don’t involve theme parks and water sports!

I love to travel and undoubtedly one of the most rewarding aspects for me is the opportunity to capture beautiful images that I can then share with my friends and readers. As much as I love photography, cameras and lenses can quickly add a lot of extra weight.

Travel can be a great treasure. It allows you to see amazing sights around the world, learn new languages, and explore different cultures. By traveling, you get to meet new people and form lifelong friendships.
