Photo of the Week December 27, 2010: Pumped for Snow, South Dakota

SHERRY OTT's picture

A year ago a blizzard hit the midwest halting holiday travel.  When you are stuck, it's a great time to get the camera out and see what you can capture.  The snow provided a beautiful 'untouched' setting at my parent's home.  When photographing snow - be sure to set your white balance correctly so that the snow appears white as opposed to gray!
