Writers, artists, musicians, actors, creative people of all sorts, often ask the best questions, questions which have to do with real values, fundamental choices, important relationships. As is true with any sort of art, these questions may at times be framed in poetic and indirect ways. Directly or indirectly, these works of creation help with reflection on such matters.

San Diego visitors can see history come alive at The US Grant Hotel. This magnificent property, designed by Harrison Albright, took five years to build. On October 15, 1910, the hotel opened with a final price tag of 1.9 million dollars. After a handful of renovations in the last century, the hotel still maintains its grandeur and commemorates its remarkable history by showcasing images and artifacts throughout the property.
Traveling alone is one of the most amazing experiences that everyone should have at least once in their lives. When being on the road on your own, you get the opportunity to test your limits, and discover and understand yourself better, because it is just you with your own thoughts and the emotions for everything new that experienced on your journey.
Beyond the Rainbow, naturally, is a song-based glimpse into Judy Garland’s life - her turmoil, struggles, loves, and addictions. It is thoughtful, clever, and, at times, even comical. To say that this is the most unique, insightful musical would be spot on. There is truly nothing like it.
When we first set eyes on the Celebrity Equinox Cruise Ship, the only words I could think to say were, “Holy crap! This ship is freaking huge.” It was like a small city floating on water. The adults had all traveled by cruise ship before, but this was by far the largest ship any of us had been on.
