Planning a school trip is a lot like coordinating a large-scale battle…

And you’ve got an army of a million troops…

And a billion things are likely to go wrong…

And while you’re planning the trip, you’re expected to balance a beach ball on your head while spinning more plates than a professional plate spinner at the Plate Spinning Olympics.

But when a school trip, whether it’s a day in the countryside or a week in Barcelona, goes off without a hitch, there’s no stopping the feeling of pride that’ll race in your heart.

What comes to mind when you think of Thomas Jefferson? Third president of the United States, check.

Principal author of the Declaration of Independence? Sure.

Founding Father of the American Nation? Without a doubt.

Developer of ice cream recipes? Well…maybe not.

Company spreadsheet errors are really dangerous for businesses. A minor mistake can lead to huge problems - and the big problem is that this is actually seen as being a normal thing. Companies do not pay close attention to these errors, so a lot of money is lost every single month. High-profile corporate blunders, like that of Enron, now ring alarm bells and business managers actively look for ways to make financial spreadsheets more error-free, but we are still a long way from success.

Wandering Educators note: We were so pleased to learn about the debut novel from Dr. Leslie Schweitzer Miller – a New York City psychiatrist, fine artist, and author. Discovery is a story told in two parts: one set in 1885 and centered on the very real historical figure Abbé François Bérenger Saunière, the other beginning in 2012 when characters Dr. Giselle Gélis and Dr. David Rettig meet and fall in love.

Having attended – and been thrilled by – the CFCArts Community Choir & Big Band’s performance of “Icons – A Salute to the Kings & Queens of Music", I would begin by recommending that if you see this in time to claim any tickets that are left for tonight’s performance at Northland Church -- that should become your first order of business for TODAY.

Studying abroad is more than just a fun experience - it is a great opportunity to enrich yourself with lessons that you wouldn’t learn at home. It gives you a chance to learn not only in another culture, but the chance to learn about and immerse yourself in another culture as well.

Gettysburg is often called the most famous small town in America because it was the site of the greatest military clash of the American Civil War.  Union and Confederate forces fought fiercely over three days (July 1-3, 1863), suffering more than 51,000 casualties.

The battle is famously called the "high-water mark" of the Confederacy.

The Golden Triangle of India is one of the most popular tourist destinations of Northern India. The triangle refers to Delhi, Jaipur, and Agra. They are almost equidistant from each other, and hence the name Golden Triangle. Each city has something different and special to offer to its visitors.
