Ah, the gripes and groans of airline traveling: crowded airports, long security lines, delayed flights, awful seating arrangements, lost luggage… are these the prices we have to pay to get to our final travel destination?  As much as we dread approaching the airport knowing what to expect, we fall into a selective form of amnesia and conveniently forget the horrid experiences once we arrive at our anticipated destination.  Why? So we can go ahead and do it all over again next time!!

In my first episode of the A Road Retraveled series, I recorded my experiences flying from NYC to Rome, Italy. Wow, thinking back now, I have to ask myself: did this really happen???
