 We've posted here about National Geographic Glimpse's Correspondents Program. Here's a new Call for Applicants. Good luck!

National Geographic Glimpse is a new multimedia platform devoted to exploring real life abroad. Glimpse features great stories by young Americans living overseas and navigating new cultures. The Correspondents Program is an opportunity for especially talented young storytellers who will be living abroad in Spring 2009.

Glimpse Correspondents:

    * Specialize in writing, photography, or video
    * Are between the ages of 18-30
    * Will be living or studying abroad for at least 10 weeks between January 1 - June 30, 2009.
    * Can commit to a professional editorial process
    * Are willing to talk to locals and seek out new cultural experiences
    * Are U.S. or Canadian citizens, or have lived in the United States or Canada for at least 10 years

Glimpse Correspondents receive:

    * A $600 stipend
    * A professional editor
    * Guaranteed publication in National Geographic Glimpse in print or online.

The Glimpse Correspondents Program seeks to identify and support the next generation's best and brightest young storytellers. While Glimpse supports anyone who has a story to share, our Correspondents collaborate especially closely with our editorial staff and become our featured contributors. The program represents a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in a host culture, hone your storytelling skills, and share your stories with a national audience of peers.
